오늘 간만에 그룹 활동 & 게임!(pub quiz)이여서 재밌었다

외국의 생소한 문화도 알아가고, 상식 문제도 나오고(오늘도 상식부족ㅠ)

처음 듣는 영단어 표현도 배울 수 있는 좋은 기회였다

외국인 친구들한테 가서 몇몇 단어는 직접 써볼 예정이고, 특히 외국문화 관련해서 좋은 주제인 것 같아서 대화 나누기 좋을것 같다!

Round 1: 각 나라의 문화 맞추기

 

• India: piercing festival → True

 

• Kenya: Jumping over babies → False
  • In Spain, do jumping over baibes to detect babies from devil

 

• Indonesia: Filing down your teeth before marriage? → True
  • 동물같다고 생각해서 이빨을 갈고, 결혼을 하면 이제 완전한 사람이 된다고 믿는다고 한다

 

• Mongolia: Horse wrestling → False
  • In Turkey, there is camel wrestling

 

• Denmark: Single at 25? get covered in cinnamon → True
  • In Korea, Single until 30, he/she will be a magician~kkk

 

• Senegal: Don’t ask for salt? → False
  • In Egypt, it’s rude to request for salt.

  • 까치 한마리만 있을때 경례하고(for good luck) 두 마리 이상 같이 있을때는 안함

• Ergophobia ~ fear of work
• Busticate ~ 조각내는것 break/split into pieces
• Dornick ~ 조약돌 a stone small enough to throw

 

Ergophobia라는 단어도 있는거 보니 일하기 싫은건 만국 공통인가 보다ㅎㅎㅎ
